What if I use cheat in ac4

I just finish ac4 and want to use some cheats (note: I don't have all the achievement but I want to have them all) I'm afraid that once I use a cheat i will not be able to get an achievement again. I was just wondering that if I use a cheat. Does it only disable achievement for that session or what?

I suppose just to be safe, I would recommend to get the entire achievements first before turning on the cheats.
