Poll:Templar Armor vs. Mayan Outfit?
We all know the Templar Armor and Mayan Outfit give some pretty big bonuses. But which one do you guys think is better? My vote is mayan outfit for two reasons: 1:It looks awesome. 2:Edward isn't a templar.

I agree with you.

I never saw any benefit from the Templar armor that other armors didn't have. Mayan protects from bullets. It's a no brainer

Templar armor till the mayan armor unlocks as it has added resistance to damage. Then mayan all the way.

Neither... I cast my vote for pirate captain simply because of the holsters.

They both look really good. It's always been very difficult for me to decide. They both look cool but in different ways.

Of those two, I prefer Templar for the look. Overall I think I mostly wore the Pirate Captain (the black/red one).

This ^^. I prefer the Pirate Captian as well. Have prefered the black and red look since Altair's armour in AC2.

Yes the Pirate Captain is tight, aside from Edward the Legend.. I love the look and protection of the templar outfit as it just fits Edward well as i have noticed in cutscenes, it really is cool.. I cant wait to see the Mayan in full since the picture is blurred from waist down.

For combat, the Mayan outfit is king of the hill.
For fashion, the Pirate outfit is king of the hill.
For no purpose, every other outfit is king of the hill.

Simply depends on your preference. Do you prefer to look cool, be cool, or do you just not care?

The "Cat suit" for the "just not care" crowd, yes? :cwat:

I found the Mayan outfit was nigh on pointless... I never got shot enough for it to make a difference, where as the reduced melee damage from the Templar made Edward a monster in hand-to-hand...

I just unlocked the Mayan Stelee armor, its pretty tight to face the "Fireing Squad" and ignore the use human shield and take the hit and the look on their faces as i just stand there.. lol but does anyone notice the reduced melee damage as well as bullet resistance? it would seem silly to resist bullets and not swords, but i noticed the fall damage is reduced big time, so my take is its the best of both worlds. I am making it a point to let them use their guns and just be a slow walking bad*** type, too bad it does not have a hood.. its still pretty tight looking regardless, the templar armor was cooler without the hood as it covered the neck and had a distinct look, could be just me.

Cat suit is cool but if im gonna hunt i would use the stealth outfit, feline just seems out of character i guess for Edward. Of all the outfits Ezio's armor suits him well but he does not drop the hood like he would with the other suits as i have noticed on the cutscene at Tulum when i went to that mission, just equipped it because of the mission title, it seemed appropriate lol..

I personally like the Templar outfit cuz not only is the way to get it more fun but also I enjoy the idea of using the Templars own armour against them

My opinion is the Templar. You will most likely be using hand to hand, so why not better that skill? However I do like the Mayan armor because of the reduced fall damage and reflection of bullets. So here's what I got: If you prefer firepower over strength, the Mayan armor. If you prefer strength over firepower, the Templar armor.

the Pirate Captain vest is the best.
