how do i get to torres

im at the end of the game but i cant get to him without the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ light burning me i looked up some videos but it shows edward jumping to the ledge but i just fall

It is a bit of platform jump puzzle no doubt. and you indeed have to look out for the "force fields". There might be other routes, but I got to him by first jumping to the platforms to the left of torres then under the platform to the right side of him. Then if was some wall climbing (and light avoiding) to circle back to higher platforms in front of Torres from where you can finally jump to the same platform with Torres. Got it?
