Tried opening this shortly after installing Windows 10 and it won't open or show up in my active programs. Anyone got a solution to this? Perhaps an alternative to unlocking the fps cap in Black Flag?

I've just installed Win 10 as well, but I didn't get any problems at all, so I wouldn't know where to start. But while you wait for somebody to reply who knows what to do you could look through your settings, there may be something there that has been tagged which shouldn't be.

I don't think the fps cap has anything to do with it, but I could be wrong, I'm not that computer savvy I must admit.

Same problem for me, installed win10 then the game, which won't open :-(

Try vista SP2 compatible mode. Works fine for me.
