Gold Edition, Season Pass, or DLCs?

Okay I have a few questions about Black Flag.

1. In the Gold Edition, you do not get Illustrious Pirates Pack, or The Crusader and Florentine Pack, or do you?

2. Are the time saver packs worth getting?

3. Season Pass gives you a kraken ship, meaning Gold Edition gives you kraken ship, since you get the season pass when you get the gold edition, but you do not get the Death Vessel Pack, meaning the kraken ship and death vessel are two different things?

4. Also Freedom Cry, is it the same as the stand alone game, or is it shorter?

5. Are the Guild of Rogues and Blackbeard Wrath DLCs worth getting, because it seems all they are for is figthing more legendary pirates?

After looking into this almost all day I think I can answer my own questions.

1. No, even thought when you get the Illustrious Pirates Pack it does give you Black Island and 2 other Island maps, it seems as thought it is not the same content as the Gold Edition gives you. Which is different content for Black Island, and dose not give you the other 2 Islands at all. Also The Crusader and Florentine Pack is not included.

2. They are if you want to save time gathering, and searching for stuff.

3. The kraken ship and death vessel are two different things for your ship.

4. Still have no idea...but it seems as thought it makes getting the stand alone game pointless unless you just don't want Black Flag.

5. I guess if you want to battle legendary pirates...

So really when it comes down to it if you want everything for all the Assassins Creed Titles you need to get these, assuming you currently have none of the games at all:

Assassins Creed: Directors Cut
Assassins Creed: Revelations Gold Edition
Assassins Creed: Brotherhood Deluxe Edition
Assassins Creed 2: Deluxe Edition
Assassins Creed: Liberation
Assassins Creed: Liberation - Bonus Pack
Assassins Creed 3: Deluxe Edition
Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag Gold Edition
Then the rest of the DLCs for Black Flag - MP Character Pack: Blackbeard's Wrath, Guild of Rogues, Illustrious Pirates Pack, Crusaders & Florentine Pack, Death Vessel Pack, Time Saver Packs: Resources, Technology, Collectibles, and Activities.

I was having the same problem. Stuff like this needs a matrix chart of options.

1,you got the two if you own the gold version
2,for a devoted fan,they worth it.And one of them can change the limit of transport capacity.
3,they are different part,gold exclusive one is the Kraken content,what season pass holds is the Death Vessel.
4,I haven't played that part.But as I noticed on Steam pages,the standalone one page got the mentioning of the DLC version,"if you own the xxx,you don't need to buy the standalone.",so I can guess:they're just the same in the gameplay.
5,it's a MP pack,also a money grabber as most of the above,included in the season pass.

What I know about this:don't bother trying to buy all content and dlcs in just one version,on steam,at this moment.Ubi is not an honorable company,but also not SE.They doesn't seem like to release a really complete version in the future to grab money.

4 years later and still Ubisoft hasn't changed a thing. Not sure if it's money or laziness.

Sooo to understand, if I get the gold version, I still need to get several of the DLCs? Or is everything included in the Season Pass? Sorry I am so confused lol

im assuming 'gold' is the deluxe-version

so i get everything with deluxe+season pass?
