Does Freedom Cry have any spoilers for the main game?

I made the mistake of getting Freedom Cry in the middle of AC4 (Just started Sequence 6) and I really want to play Freedom Cry.

Freedom Cry tell more story of the character Adewale after the ending for Assassin's creed 4 when he becomes an assassin with a badass machete as a main weapon but in short Freedom Cry does not have anything that relates to the main story of assassin's creed that's why they released it as a stand-alone game.

you can find the jackdaws shipwreck and maybe thats it idk haven't played or seen much of it
