Kenway's fleet infinite loading?

I cannot access the kenway's fleet for some reason, how to fix that?

Download this fix. Resets your game from 1.08 to 1.07 which will fix your loading issue.

Is that necessary? will ubisoft eventually fix this? another thread said they were looking into it

I have to quit the game then restart it, then the fleet loads and I don't have any issues for the rest of the session.

Not sure why that works, but it's loaded for me every time after I restart. Probably a server bug on their side they can't or won't fix . . .

just like that? you open the game, the fleet doesn't work... you restart the game and it works again?

I have tried that but it didn't seem to work, how exactly did you restart the game? through the uplay launcher, through steam or just clicking the desktop shortcut?

They probably won't fix it, since it's been an issue for over a year. If you copy the exe file to your Black Flag folder, everything will work just fine.

I just exit the game completely back out to the steam library but I don't exit uplay, then just restart the game and I can load the fleet. Can't say it would work for everyone, but every time I've done it in the last 3-4 days it's worked.

edit: just confirmed it, first time trying to load the fleet after starting the game, I get the endless spinning triangle and 'loading Kenway's fleet", quit game back to desktop and reload, fleet loads first shot, no triangle showing at all.

yeah, i used that mod, works perfect. don't trust ubisoft for older games, they only care about new games

Depends on what you mean by change. It just reverts to the previous 1.07 patch. The patch that had no serious issues like dlcs not working properly or infinite loading on the Kenway Fleet.

Like they didn't add anything with the update right? They only broke stuff for some reason?

Also the mod doesn't disable achievements and stuff right?

Nope. Nothing gets disabled, achievements still work. All the update did was break the game.

I have that same problem. I opened a ticket to Ubisoft support for this situation. I tried your answers. They asked me to close 2FPA included. When it wasn't resolved, their response was: A new update is coming soon. Others have similar problems. But we made an update. Again, make sure you have entered your information correctly.
