I wish Ubi would bring it back.

Instead of making ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games with lame mechanics like skulls & bones, they could make a multiplayer game with a core gameplay that works, like AC

They already have all the assets from their other games, just paste it all in a standalone multiplayer game and call it a day (still more effort than their other games). Now, add a server browser, remove the awful matchmaking which gives up after 15 seconds of searching, add back the chase mechanic from AC III so players can't chase you forever with no downside, and remove the score multiplier you get when dying multiple times in a row. In general, just do balancing after release.

i say be happy you can get this game and play its single player. it was a great game years ago its still a great game. i don't trust a remaster from them at all. they would add the dumb leveling system and microtransactions without working on what needs to be fixed.

I don't really want a remaster but I wish they re-hosted servers and allowed us to play multiplayer again

Made a separate "Good" multiplayer game based on that mode, not that Skull & Bones crap.

But I agree with you that sadly we can't really trust Ubisoft for that nowadays

Multi still works it's just dead but also their servers are kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ too to be fair. If anyone is looking to play multi add me maybe we can get a private sesh going.

AC black flag mutiplayer still works for pc, i played several matches today. i recomend to join the discord server AC:MPR - Assassins's Creed Multiplayer Revival. people are posting neraly daily, that they looking for people or that they hosted some lobby to join. Best time to play mutiplayer, is between 18:00-02:00 UTC time zone.
