AC Shadow: Main Character is Gay

How does everyone else feel about Ubisoft recent handling of their upcoming Shadow game? I feel it should of based with only two japanese people but clearly DEI strikes again.

I'm black and I'm heavily against DEI, woke, and Sweet Baby Inc and all affiliates.

Not a huge fan of the ahistorical anachronisms and revisionist history in Shadows, but I suspect he'll be 'gay' in the same way that Eivor and Alexios/Kassandra were, eg, up to the player's choice with lukewam RPG elements.

Just as a side note, samurai culture was not only fine with homosexuality but actually often viewed it as a hyper-masculine behavior.

Also, historically, there was a black man in the service of Oda Nobunaga in the 16th century. Not that much is known about him other than his name being Yasuke, so Ubi just took creative license with it.

considering the last game i bought from this is the AC 1 on sale through Uplay and Black Flag on Steam, i highly doubt they seen my money for any recent new games lol.

yeah but to make up an entire history of an actual known person is the reason people are mad over the choice, especially making him gay to which I highly doubt he was.

That's not how it work anymore. As long as you participate in the hype, and that includes ♥♥♥♥ posting about the game everywhere you can, especially social media and youtube commentary on every trailer with multiple views to see how many bros agree with you in the comments, they don't need your money.

Quite sadly the OP has been posting pretty much a copy-pasta of this topic around other older Assassin's Creed (AC's) expecting to try and start some sort of blind hate and/or fear mongering riot. And, quite gladly, I've also been noticing that most of those threads, if not flat out all, never get the OP's expected result and thus, I trully think that by now we're tired and finally done with this sort of shannannigan.

Edit add note: And just before someone asks, I'm a straight sexully oriented bloke, but what I can't stand is the injustice they're trying to sow and extreme right-wing populist brainwshing and bleaching of Humankind's History like for instance pretending that the Holocust didn't happen, having a different sexual orientation than mine was socially chased until the early 2000's or so when it was finally revealed that it's tied to your brain's chemistry and you can't actually control it[www.nationalgeographic.com].

So, how about stopping the forking biggotry of that falsely narrowing the viewing spectre into only hving "black or white" or "us or them" scenarios and actually try some real "live and let live" for a forking change, hmm?

I only have black flag on steam and the other games on UPLAY so unless you have proof hat I'm doing that, you're merely lying to start pointless drama lol. Which is funny because you're trying to act and mighty despite your foundation introduction being a lie as Steam and Ubisoft have records of my respective transactions and they trump any and everyday idiot think you have to say or makeup.

and i'm an independent centralist so very far from the right, as you're doing the same thing to me as the people you hate. I don't care about the expect, the engagement was and is the only focus. Too bad you all of nothing, while looking completely foolish lol.
