*HELP* Purchased DLCs can't be accessed.

I purchased the gold edition on steam, activated the game on Ubi Connect when prompt by pasted the CD key found in my steam library. However I can't access any of the DLC contents in game nor start Aveline or Freedom Cry campaign. Checking my games on Ubi Connect, shows that I own all the DLCs as well. Anybody else having this issue?

From ever since Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (AC IV:BF) was considered by Ubi$oft to be one of their "Legacy Titles"[www.ubisoft.com] you shouldn't expect to get any decent Ubi$oft Support[www.ubisoft.com] from their end. Although you should be able to start the Freedom Cry DLC from the main game's menu upon its top right square. And similar should occur by seeing those 3 dlack hexagon marked islands when you're seeing the AC IV:BF main world's map right after you get out of the starting island and Cuba town.

As for playing with Aveline that sure wasn't upon my AC IV:BF "Gold Edition" when I acquired it all those years back.

First, check your game folder to make sure you have DLC folder 1-10 downloaded.

This fix worked! But freedom cry is still stuck at "initializing downloadable content". Everything else seems to be accessible. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Very disappointing. I submitted a ticket two weeks ago. Dead silent.
