Tbh, I've never used mods for AC IV: BF (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag) nor for its Freedom Cry DLC but that's because I've simply felt that there was nothing in particular that could be a quality of life (QoL) mod' to use whenenever I'm replaying it.
But even today, black flag and rogue are still incredibly enjoyable games, especially on modern PCs. With the graphics cranked to max and using a 21:9 mod the game looks absolutely beautiful. (i’ve honestly never seen a more modern game yet, replicate the ocean like black flag and rogue does.).
Great replayability factor after you’ve completed all the missions. Sometimes I just bring out black flag, just so I could be in pirate mode for a while and sync some ships. Aaarrrggghhh!
It's called: "Mute Music But Keep Sea Shanties and Everything Else"
