Ubisoft recently has unlocked a lot of previously unavailable items

The bad news everybody already knows ) But I have good news for a change. Ubisoft actually finally unlocked all content from Initiate bonuses and some exclusive content for free. People have been asking them to do that for years and here it is.

The list of unlocked items.

Initiates bonus items are available from the start of a new game as well.
- Split-blood sails,
- Black-skull sails,
- Maid of Amsterdam shanty.

Some exclusive content items are stored in several ULC (golden) chests in your base on Great Inagua.
- Haytham Kenway's overcoat,
- Black Bart's sails.
- Queen Anne sails,
- Aquila sails,
- Benjamin sails.

The Wilkinson figurehead and Dual Cleavers are available from the start of any game.

Right form the begiinig of the game you will have some maps for treasure chests with DLC items. One of them will point to Great Inagua. The treasure chest contains Edward Kenway's Unique Swords.

I'm not sure this necessarily has something to do with their infamous recent update but who knows. May be it's their way to apologise without admitting they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Or may be it has been planned long before the update. Anyway it's an overall good thing althoigh it's about 10 years late imo.

@ Fonideri: If you wouldn't mind, I'd prefer to read from some external sources the news that you also brought us. Call me whatever you deem to, but I'm a fan for cold, hard facts instead of the internet's whispers and gossips.
But if that actually truth then, imo, that's their usal way to apologize without ever admitting to have royally forked things up to avoid law suits and that that lame excuse to push us into their eventual remake simply blown upon their faces.

And particularly since I already had a lot of those DLC's content unlocked I'll be sure to also point that I'd like a refund for all that provided that actually spent cash in those and still there's not an actual fullscreen fix into the game.
I've been their customer for quite a long time now and, quite frankly, they've simply lost me with all these latest stunts of theirs. And I'll still be considering to open a lawsuit at the European Court of Law against their latest practices if the fullscreen correction patch doesn't come out on Monday. By now, I'm really tired and done with p**sy footing them around and them triffling with me (alongside the remaining customers, either they complaint or decide to suck it up... once again).

How about the stuff I saw with my own eyes? I literally checked every item I listed. I haven't modified the game in any way and now see items that weren't available before.

As of external sources I distrust game media anyway and read them rather rarely. Most of the journos who wrote for those media are completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the head and grossly incompetent.

Come to think of it there is a possibility this 'unlock' is another bug devs introduced lately. May be it'll be fixed as well soon )

If you are talking about me, the last Ubisoft game I bought was AC: Odyssey, the glorified feminist power fantasy. I've not been buying anything produced by this company for quite a while now.

Finoderi, I got everything except the Community Challenges stuff. Do I have to complete challenges, or ...? They weren't in the shops I went to, nor the captain's cabin. Thanks.

It's impossible to complete those challanges, they are long gone. But those rewards should be unlocked for you. I'm surprised they are not.

Thanks for checking. I found the 5 ULC chests, 1 new buried chest (Edward's unique sword), and 3 Initiates items appeared directly in my inventory. Only the Community challenge stuff seems unattainable (so far).

Yep, I started a new game once again and rewards for community challenges are unavailable. And that means those who didn't have the opportunity to complete Community challenges can obtain those rewards only by editing save file with Cheat Engine. And Ubisoft still sucks balls.

Most likely all additional content will be included in the remade or remastered version for free, as was the case with AC3.

Yeah, I wish the stuff you couldn't get was unlisted... instead, a game that has literal 'completion' percentages all over tells you that you can't have several items, no matter how thorough you are, because there are no community events anymore.

And my PS4 version doesn't even have the ULC's the PC just randomly got...
