1. To open the DLC's and maintaining their use when you're playing you'll need to have an active 'net connection because AC IV: Black Flag requires that so that their UConnect launcher/store recognizes such and allows you to use those (alas, pretty much like all other still supported UbiSoft's games);
2. You can customize your keyboard settings to fit whatever you wish those to be. Heck, I've got at least 80% of the defaults ones changed since I tend to play with a whole different standard to move around the map, either it being on foot or when upon vessels such as your default one, the Jackdaw;
3. I think that when you're "grey" as you put it you're inside a stealth providing spot such as bushes, closets, hay stacks and similars. It pays off because you can at least make a few kills without being noticed. If you want to attract attentions so that foes come investigate when you're inside the bushes simply press the "Active Profile" key (mine's upon the "Tab" key) until they get suspitious enough and come investigate. Then let it go to return to stealth and move around the bush to get those foes off-guard;
4. Songs can be captured you chase'em fast enough since they always follow a certain pattern before disappearing into thin air (and if they disappear return later on to try again).
Once you get a Song you'll be able to use it to make your crew sing it when you're cruising the seas inside vessels (my key to swap songs is "4" when commandeering a vessel, so I don't know what yours is).
And no problem, glad to have been able to assist you.
(I'm also replaying the game although scarcely because I've got other more recent games to amuse myself too.)
Thanks you,I will investigate all of this to see if it works for me.
Hello and thank you for your help.
Actually, it doesn't work, but I may have misspoken.
It's a pity that here you can't put screens to explain more easily what we mean sometimes.
I will try to be more clear.
I bought the game on Steam in Gold version to have all the bonuses.
Before launching the game we see that I have recovered the 11 DLCs, here are the 2 screens.
I imagine that among all this there must be bonuses, outfits, weapons maybe.
(After maybe I'm wrong and they are put directly when I start a solo game and there is no bonus, since I don't know what all these DLCs correspond to)
Then when I "play" we don't see the 'additional content' part highlighted so I can't do anything.
And when I play the game, in my solo part I noticed that I have no outfit, no free weapon compared to this "gold" purchase.
I know that there are some games where, when you took it GOLD, you have things to recover by opening things in the games directly.
Is there something to do to validate these bonuses linked to the purchase of the game in gold? I'm a little lost ^^
Except, if, as I already said, there is no "weapon, outfit, money" bonus given by buying the gold version (I don't remember what this purchase gave compared to the purchase of the game in standard version.
PS: After if you tell me that you have to play inline version so that these DLCs are taken into account during the game, I couldn't because I don't have internet at home.
I was hoping that we could validate all the things given by this gold version (if there are any) just by logging in and playing 5 minutes to validate everything.
Maybe by going to Ubisoft connect?
Unless you only win, by buying the gold version, things for the multiplayer mode.
Here is my email, if you can, write to me and I could show you screens, it will be easier
