Any games like the naval combat?

The naval combat in this game is probably one of, if not THE best pirate/naval ship combat game I've ever played.

Are there any others like it?

AC Odyssey is really good if you haven't tried it yet- the naval combat is a little bit faster and lighter than Black Flag I think but still super fun. Plenty of opportunities for a fight as well

Yeah sorry, nothing really compares to this one. Not only the combat but the fleet capabilities and mercantilism is peak for sure.

I hope one day we get a solid single player game where it's basically the naval aspect of AC:Black Flag but we roam around a world in a small ship and slowly build upon it, more cannons, finding better crew, exploring places we couldn't before via stronger hull upgrades etc.

IF you'd like to sail the 7 seas of long ago for adventure and upgrades and leveling ups, and exploration (but without pyrating nor 3D beutiful visuals), a great whaling game here on STEAM....."Nantucket".

Well yes. did you check Skull and Bones ? It is coming up in March. It is basically black flag naval combat without the AC part :)

can not wait for skull and bones. a SP game with sailing and combat again? hells yeah.

not had a good sailing and ship combat since sid meirs days. black flag was a nice change from all the crappy on load combat sims. like i may as well play a rogue in a mmo at that point. i want to be a pirate!

Don't. really don't. the devs of Naval Action have just successfuly angered the players with silly updates and a Seasonal approach with wipes. Not worth to spend time on it to be honest. And the grind is real :)

Naval combat is nice. Really nice. but everything around it is purely cumbersome and not fun.

Ps : also a free game with 480 euros worth DLCs :)
