stuck on loading screen

i just put james the kid in the boat but then it goes to a loading screen and doesnt change wtf anyone else have this problem?

Got the exact same problem here . I put the kid in the boat , new loading sequence starts and ....... I watch Edward drink from the same bottle forever .
I have not had any lag during the game , nor any freezes or crashes . This is the only problem I have encountered .
Would be good it it would get fixed .

u just have to wait like 5 mins and then it works happened with me

I just gave Edward 15 minutes to finish that bottle of rum on that loading screen . But he didn´t want to finish drinking .
It doesn´t get past this point .

wait r you in the loading screen? you know and all the bubbles and stuff are on the screen? im trying to rember what i did try moving about runing for 30 secs or something i think thats what i did out of utter bordem and it worked randomly

Well , I loaded up to try that , and somehow it started up right after the loading sequence instead . Didn´t get to see Edward drink this time .
Seems like watching the loading screen for 15 minutes , shutting down the game and starting up again did the trick .

I just had the same problem and indeed let him drink for 15 minutes, turn of the game maybe your pc and start up again. That worked for me too

solved it: hit start on controler or CTRL + SHIFT + ESC it takes you to the pauce/start menu. HEre it allows you to trouble shoot, what worked for me was 1. Exit 2. Exit Memory. but you can do a lot of other things to troubleshoot like reset memory, load last check point, exit to animus
