i know that but is there any way to convert them? or take them over on a usb drive

It doesn't work like that. You'll have to re-buy what you had. You say that you have better PC, but it doesn't mean you'll be able to play the same games just because it was purchased the same or higher year a game came out. What are your computer specs, if you don't mind me asking?

i know i have to re-buy i just mean is there a way to keep my 87% progress? also i have a lenovo y510p which is on the bang for the buck laptops list for ac4. i think the specs are nvidia geforce gt 755m graphics card. and my processor intel(R) core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU

even if these dont work i will be getting a gaming desktop soon so it will work on that one. i am not sure what the specs will be for it though.

Wow, looks like you do have a good PC Build suitable for gaming. Unfortunately saves don't work that way either, and not through cloud. At least, not that I'm aware of.

You do realise that AC4 is horribly optimised even for pc's that were build long after the game was released?

So don't expect wonders from a laptop. Next to that, laptop variants are weaker then their desktop counterparts.

Unfortunately Inardesco is telling the truth... I max it out on GTX970, and I barely get 30fps in certain scene... in other scene perfect 60fps... this game is horribly optimized... I get better graphic fidelity on Witcher 3 and not dropping 30fps there...

but I run the game on my Y580 (i7 ivybridge mobile, GTX660M) it is playable with 720p minimum settings. So you're good there if that's what you expect...

also i dont really care all that much about the fps i just want it for pc for the much better graphics and for the pc controls. i am more of a pc gamer then console and it is easier for me to fight on pc
Inardesco Aug 12, 2016 @ 10:54am
So....you want better graphics, but you don't care that it will run like absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?

pretty much yea. also im a pc gamer and not so much a console gamer so the controls are better in my opinion
Inardesco Aug 12, 2016 @ 1:30pm
You can't call yourself a pc-gamer if it's only graphics you're after. No decent pc-gamer would prefer ♥♥♥♥♥ fps over pretty graphics and instead would go for maximizing the fps whilst gaining a high graphic fidelity.

As for controls, controller beats keyboard for games like Assasins Creed.

Not to mention, PC Gamers like to tweak the living hell out of their machine. I do agree that this game is horribly optimized. Turned on the vsync, kept messing with the features because my frames were dropping in the jungle around the beginning. I set the vsync before starting a new file, but after messing with some of the graphical settings, I forgot that I did have it on and 9/10; that ♥♥♥♥♥ with fps. Then I go to small island in the middle of nowhere, just one ship, and it drops frames to around 25fps when I'm not looking at it? Nothing, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sand and water! You telling me the ship is less graphical? You telling ship battles, fort fights, you can do at around 40-60fps even with all than crumbling brick/wood are easier than sand and water?

am not going to debate on your preference, but:

1. definitely Xbox360 is going to have better graphics fidelity for this game compared to your laptop, but will have decent fps. It's not that your machine isn't capable, it's just the game code is absolute PoS. my GTX970 with i7-4770K still run the game like dog poop in certain scene (which like BlackRayPlayer said, the scene doesn't even make sense) with high settings @ 1080p. I can't see how your laptop is going to be any better than Xbox360 on graphics department for this game. So if you're choosing your laptop for better graphics, boy you're wrong (only for this AC4, or practically any other game in this series really)
2. for most ppl, including me, will prefer a controller for games like AC series... but I do know people that simply don't have the coordination for controller while being better with keyboard and mouse.
