Price for Black Flag has doubled..
This game was £15-£17 two years ago and now it is nearly double the price at £34.

The way they justify this? It is now the majestical Gold Edition where you get DLC skins for your ship which are completely meaningless and a few extra DLC single player missions. These missions do not scratch the surface in terms of value for money for the upscale in price.

Ubisoft are just an absolute joke. The main game is okay but I cannot endorse a game or a company which has such a clear disregard for its consumers. Doubling the price on a game which is nearly nine years old is criminal.

For anybody looking to buy this game I advise you look elsewhere in the vain hope our buying decisions can change disgusting business practices such as this. It is possible to buy the standalone main game for a much better price from other sellers if you have a look online..

I was looking at the current sale until I checked SteamDB for this title and after that I won't be buying ANY of them.

Because 2 years ago they were selling the base game and now they are selling the Gold version.

Product devaluation means the gold version should be as expensive as the base game 2 years ago & the base game available for a pence. Nowhere else are spoiled & old products as costly as in the gaming industry.
