But when exploring looking for chests and fragments suddenly I'm a butterfingers that can't get up anything.
Yea, it also frustrates me when he jump in wrong direction, I was like “why would you do that!!!?”
Another time, when I try to get to the closet (hiding spot) at a warehouse, before reaching it there was a fence, he jump over it to the roof of the closet. I was in so much rage lol, like the guard didn’t take long to turn around and he got caught. Like it would be so much efficient if there is a run button and I can just jump over the fence to get to the closet, just like any regular either 1st or 3rd person game, parkour combining with (free)running is just nightmare. Unless my brain can constantly recognize every parkour “hot spot” so that I can avoid and let him run more efficiently.
Go figure. Can you tell it's a Ubisoft game?
Ubisoft is still decent compared to many other companies. Their Farcry games series are still decent, of course there are always flaws but heck still better than many companies out there. They got good formulas in making games, and they still stick with that, I give them good credit for that.
I hate when most of times I just want to run to certain objects (like the closet, alarm bells, swivel gun in combat, etc.), he just jumps up on something, because like I said, the problem is that running and parkour like the same function in this game.
Most of time I just want to run because he only walks on forward button, his slow walk was killing me when I try to go stealth through dense places filled with guards, and I just want to fulfill the stupid “optional objectives”. He did so many goofy parkour in wrong directions that I have no intend to go.
so glad they fixed it come syndicate but we were stuck with it WAAAY too long
