how do you play Adewale on gold edition ?

i purchased the gold edition on steam which is suppose to have Adewale as a single player story and even though its marked as being in my steam dlcs and the gold edtion which includes a key for the season pass included .. both keys are registered on ubisoft and still i cant figure out how to access this dlc character single player 3 hr content of Adewale ... any info or help would be great .. thanks

Freedom Cry is a separate campaign from the main game. So, it isn't accessible from within the Edward campaign. It will probably be accessible from AC4's main menu. I'd check the different options there.

it doesnt show up at all but yet it is in my dlcs with the check mark and i updated and everything .. ill figure it out eventually lol

Freedom Cry is included in the season pass, which is included with the Gold Edition.

If Freedom Cry is working, you should see a picture of Adewale (and Aveline since her missions are also included) in the top right rectangular box in the main menu. When you select it, it should list Freedom Cry as well as "Aveline"

If you do not see Adewale or the Freedom Cry DLC listed, congratulations, you are one of many now who have issues with the Gold Edition not working correctly.

Fastest way to resolve this is to ask for a refund and get the standalone version of Freedom Cry with a different version of Black Flag.... not preferable but... it is what it is.

I hope you don't have more than 2 hours of gameplay on Black Flag. If you do, your not getting your money back. Ubisoft will not be of much help either until the fabled day comes (if it comes) that they finally fix this... they still got our money though so I don't see it happening anytime soon.
