Play as a Spanish soldier sailing the West Indies, clashing with the stubborn British, fearsome Pirates, and even fellow Spanish Privateers!

As soon as it releases I'll also post a guide here on Steam on how to make your own.

Welp, the mod possibilities are very limited it seems... disappointing. I wish i could, i dunno,make a mod where my main ship is a Man o War (which is kind of a downgrade to the jackdaw if you look at it) or simply create a weird weeaboo mod where all ship captains become anime girls.

I know right? Getting new ships would be amazing! I tried to do it myself, but it's just not possible without tools.

That's what I'm saying, we need to get the word out so people that know file formats can see if they can make tools to edit the files properly!

Are you sure you cant use other games' editing tools on this game to extract/edit the files? Just a suggestion if no ones tried it.

Nope. The tools for older AC games aren't compatible at all.

Sorry, but that white outfit looks absolutely horrendous. Is there really no way to edit it?

Ok well just gonna spout this out, I found a way to make man o ears pilotable, I found the code from the mission where you steal that flag ship man o war and manage to replace the jackdaw with it

I know it's been months but could you share how to do it?

I already talked to him about it. He did it years ago with the help of a unknown friend, and now he doesn't remember.

It's a shame really. So much potential wasted.

There is now a way to edit textures in the game, it also works on some other AC games, here is some stuff i have done:
