Ultrawide resolution there but still getting black bars?

Hi, I just got a new rig with an ultrawide so don't really know what I'm doing yet.
Native resolution is 3440 x 1440, and when I run games on this resolution normally it works fine.
When I run this game on 3440 x 1440 I get big black bars (shrinking the screen to normal widescreen) but if I go to 2560 x 1440 it works, even if the text looks a little stretched.

Does anyone know what is going on or know of a fix please?

this game does not have 21:9 support but there is a fix on this yt video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7wAIxCQCoI in the description there is download link its simple download the file open it with winrar then choose the folder for example if you have 3440 x 1440p monitor open that folder and open the other one if you have a 1080p ultrawide then copy the two exe files in to your game folder then open the game and your game should have 21:9 support the hud is still 16:9 but its works just fine

Just run Flawless Widescreen and the applicable plugin while running AC5. Free software with two fixes included. You don't have to download a modded exe unless you want to.
