Stealth with the Jackdaw, them missions were amazing xD
The sign of a good stealth game is if the stealthy option is either as or more satisfying/fun/enjoyable the other option/s, (if there are other options) so when a series that claims to be about stealth (AC) is at its worst when tailing enemies or sneaking, you don't have a good stealth game.
Believe it or not? The stealth is actually a lot better than it was in past games in the series, too. Let that sink in for a while.
Back on topic however, stealth in the AC games wasn't feasible until Unity at least added a cover mechanic, that in a stealth game series, they somehow though was okay to not include. I'm not saying AC is a bad series, in fact, it was one of my favorites until Ubisoft starting being modern Ubisoft, but calling pre-Unity games stealth games isn't right, they were barely attempting stealth, while herding players towards it.
