Governors outfit / Social treasure

Hey all,

I've been playing pretty actively lately doing a re-run of the storyline, however I seem to be unable to find any social treasure (or get the governors outfit any other way, for that matter). I've had some convoys lately and I am playing online.

What do I have to do to get a social treasure? Do I need to have friends playing at the same time or something?

No you shouldn't have to be friends with other people but this will increase the chance of finding one allot since it will show you on the map where there is one once a friend found one.

For some reason tho I have had exactly the same problem, I could easily find the white whales and the convoys but not the social chests. My brother on the other end kept finding them for some reason, and then I could collect them too. But I never found a single one on myself even though I just free roumed arround the whole map searching for them.

So if you are unable to find one like me it's best to have allot of friends on uplay who play this game aswell to find them for you and you can pick up the treasuer.

i have a problem guys,i don get any of the social stuff,not even the convoys. I switched to a new PC and had to start the game over,on my old PC i had the outfit but now im just waiting for the chest and i am not getting anything,PLease help

Are you sure you're logged in while playing and that your firewall is set to allow connection?

my UPlay is Adoring_Fan for increase chance of social events, carnt seem to find any event at all

added you guys on Uplay,i found the whale and convoy twice,but the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ treasure is no where to be seen. I hope you guys can help
