2. Not sure what you mean, but you can read wiki or watch youtube videos. But i think if you want to play ACO, you can do it without playing previous games.
3. Anne Bonny. They removed some content from the game, so it's confusing. You can read about here in bio or on wiki.

Rogue is really good btw. Unity is meh. Syndicate is the comic relief of AC games.

Good game. However too many unnecessary and irrelevant jokes throughout the game. Also only one of the two main characters actually cares about the creed. The other one doesn’t and thinks of the creed as lols and giggles.
It also adds nothing to the plot.
However it has a decent story, decent characters and is fun to play through.
