How I Find My Uplay Activation Key???

Recently downloaded AC4, and when I run it Uplay pops up and asks me to activate a key... Where do I find this key? (PS. I don't have a disc)

I assume, like me, that you bought this game for Uplay.
Run Uplay, click "account information" under your name in the right upper corner.
Click "my games" in the page that opens up.

if you mean steam, then go to library, click on assassin's creed 4 black flag, and on the right is a list of options, one of them being a cd key. click on it and you will get the key

Did you even buy the game is the question? I checked your profile and didn't see any sign of ac4 in your library and since you sayed you didnt buy a retail copy with the disc and cd key inside you most likely pirated the game reloaded version, download the black box version of the game if you plan to play it or otherwise buy the bloody game.

If you bought the game you would have been given the activation key for Steam which you also use on Uplay to activate the game and play it. If you haven't bought the game then you've pirated the game as the above comment said.

Whoa chill guys. I just copied my friend's game-files to see if it'd work, haven't really played AC games but this one looked worth a try. Just trying to see if I could get it working if not, meh. No harm, no foul.

nope you can't, plus by forum rules no one can assist someone that pirates code.

How is it pirating if he bought the game? and is technically lending it to me? we were just to lazy to do the whole family share thing! I just wanted to see if i could get it working... forget i asked i just thought that the code might be somewhere in the files so nevermind if its not possible. Sorry didn't mean to start a topic about piracy...

He can't buy the game and lend it to you unless it is as a Steam gift where he buys it as a gift to send to you, codes won't work since he's already redeemed his game so therefore that game is already his and you won't be able to get the game unless he gifts you it or you buy it yourself.

It isn't that hard to family share either, so you have 3 options here.

Oh, and it is pirating because you're getting the easier way out by getting your friend to give you the files of a game you do not have, it's pirating because that game actually costs money to buy and since you're trying to get a game without using your own money or getting a gift from a friend, yeah I'd say that's pretty unfair.

It's all about profit, so you buy the game or you do not.

In future if you can't see a recent thread on the issue you're experiencing please create a new one. This thread was last commented on a few years ago.
