Most games on Steam, and other sites, keep your save game when you uninstall game. A few ask whether or not you want to keep save files but most just keep them.

From what I understand your saved games don't get uninstalled when you uninstall the game, they are usually in your Documents folder, at least that's what happens in my other games.

Also, if you use Steam Cloud Sync it should also store your saved game progress, so if you uninstall the game and then a few months later reinstall the game it will sync up with the cloud and restore your saved progress when you last had the game installed.

I just re-installed. The old (completed) game was uninstalled too. It should say "continue the story" but instead it said "Story Mode" and when i entered it, it was from the very beginning. So i guess that answers my question. Good thing i finished the main story. Now i'm gonna do the other campaigns.Thanks just the same guys.
