FOV fix 2017?
Using 16:9 but the camera is still way too close to the guy and it's giving me a migraine. Supposedly there was a cheatengine FOV fix, but I can't find any working links. Anyone have any ideas?

It only zooms in when you are not in combat, it'll zoom out when when you're in a fight.

I know but for some reason it was giving me a bad headache and eye strain. I tried vsync too but no help. It's really not a huge deal, but that fix^ made it loads better.

Holy crap thanks for this Starfarts. I just installed the game and came here to ask something else and saw this. I get motion sickness from narrow FOV's so this will help me out.

You might also want to try disabling motion blur. That gives some people motion sickness, too (including me sometimes).

no prob m80, glad it helped. Motion blur and depth of field are the first things I always check off as well. Not only do they look bad but holy god are they painful.

This was the first thing i noticed and tried to change in the options menu. The default camera is way too close and obscures your view too much. It's good that it zooms out when you're in combat but it's just too close the rest of the time. FOV fix is a life saver.

You can use https://www.flawlesswidescreen.org/ the game does not seem to be listed on the page but it is in the program im playing with FOV 115. Dont know why devs put all the effort in porting it and cant put in a FOV slider for us. The default view makes me want to puke.
thnx a lot. u can even set hotkey to change it on the go.

Flawlesswidescreen, worked flawlessly.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Quick steps for those whom come across this thread as I did.
Note: Can be used while in game

1) Download + Install + Open
2) Installed Plugins > FWS Plugins > Middle Earth: SOM
3) Drag FOV Fine Adjustment from Value: 0.00 to Value: 25.00

Also while I'm here,
Disable Camera Lag (helpful for Mouse+Keyboard PC)
1) Disable FPS Cap in game, and cap it with Rivastatistics (pm for guide. I used 60)
2) Increase Mouse sensitivity if problem still exists using 3rd party program. (I use Logitech Gaming Software for my Logitech Mouse)

I'd stay away from Cheat Engine unless you can get a copy that isn't infected with a virus if that even exists. 🙄 I went to the Cheat Engine website and tried to download it, but it was virus. Went to another website and downloaded it. It was infected with a hacking virus. I HIGHLY recommend that you stay away from Cheat Engine!!!
