HELP: Dualshock 3/Sixaxis use on PC

I am presently attempting to use either a Dualshock 3 or Sixaxis controller. I have no idea which one I am using, as it says the name of both on my device. All the prompts in-game when it's plugged in give me directions as if I was using an XBox 360 controller. In addition, the controller itself does not work in-game, and it is quite confusing getting to the options without the mouse, as the inputs it's asking me to use to access the options are also denoted with XBox buttons, leaving me confused as to which key it correlates to on the keyboard. I have heard reports of this controller being supported before, however. Are there any additional drivers I need? Or is it something else?

You can't use that controller on PC unless you use a program like the Motioninjoy DS3 tool so that it can convert the inputs to Xinputs so that the game thinks it is an Xbox controller. Also if you press any key on the keyboard it should change the on screen keys to match the keyboard.
