What does mist form do, exactly?
People said I should use the assassin's mist form on Ponce de Leon, but I want to know what it does first. Does it make you invisible to enemies or something like that?

it makes you invisible and you cant get hit while in it as well

makes you invincible. useful for clearing "take no damage" fairy chests as well

The only thing that can still damage you in Mistform are Spikes(the stationary ones, not the Floor Spike traps).

It makes you invincible, enemies and traps, excluding the stationary spikes, cannot hurt you. You can move around as you normally are able to as well, so you can still dash, air jump or fly. MP drains while you are invisible and if your MP empties, you attack while invisible, or you press your special attack button again, you will become normal.
