Fairy Chest Objective: No jumping

How is this supposed to be done? I've seen this room like two or three times already and so far, i haven't been able to figure it out.

I'm still quite a low level so i might be missing something, i think? I've tried flying over but the timer on that isn't long enough (I can't even get half way through the room). I haven't seen any secret areas in these rooms and the spikes can hit me (Plus, i would have to jump to the chest from the spikes and fail the objective).

Use a flight glyph and drop off one of the platforms to start flying instead of jumping. At least, that is the easiest and most common way!

Maybe "dragon flying" is considered valid.
But if you look into that, you might spoil some of the game for yourself.

Flight glyph didn't work for me on this one. I guess i'll skip that dragon flying and I need to try that dash next time (I haven't figured out any good use for the dash yet, i guess this could be one).

In the one's I've seen, the platforms are all at your level. Im assuming you'd use the dash ability gained by finding the rune and purchasing the ability. When I saw this room, I had no idea about runes, so I was pissed too.

Dash rune will get you through it, might possibly need 2 equipped but im not sure. I usually keep 2 equipped for dodging certain monsters

You only need one to get through the pictured one. There's a different "No jumping" one where you need 2 dashes, or some other sort of additional mobility.

You only need 1 dash. Just position yourself correctly. The ones with the small gaps can be walked over.

How do you do the "No Looking" ones?

Near-sighted/far-sighted?

Look away from the chest, then dash towards it.

Ah ok, I've never gotten the dash runes before.

How do you get the ones where you're supposed to kill all enemies, and there are the five bullet-shooting-guys above a wall? I can always kill all but the one in the top center if I have an axe or scythe spell.

I've been wondering if the "No Looking" ones could be done by inching closer while facing the other direction and slashing, but haven't actually thought of it while in a room with one. Certainly seems unnecessarially hard, but if you don't have dash runes equipped it might be worth a try.
