How does lvl's scale?
Anyone know if lvling up does anything at all? it only seems to increase upgrade prices which sucks

And I've noticed it also makes monsters take more hits to kill. My first knight lasted until I got about 800 gold and level 6, and I noticed that monsters that took 2 hits to kill at level 1 started taking 3 hits to kill at level 6.

Levels in this game are pretty much like Soul Levels in Dark Souls. It just indicates how many upgrades you have gotten.

Basicly this. Everytime you buy an upgrade you gain 1 level. But enemys wont scale to your level (except the bosses but they also cap). So as an example you could just buff your strenght till max (what is upgrade level 75 i think) and you would be at that level you stil would see level 3-16 enemys in castle hamson. What i want to say is that your level does not realy matters it just indicates how strong you are in terms of upgrades. And enemys wont scale to your level the enemys level is determined on how deep your in that area and what are you visit (like castle hamson has enemys from level 1 to i think 25 (not counting minibosses))

Levels don't really mean anything. It's just a useful indicator for the skill tree, because (from what I can tell) all prices go up by 10g every time you buy/upgrade a skill.

And enemies get stronger as you gain levels, which means you might as well be upgrading the monsters with all that gold.

I found that bloody stupid.

no, enemy don't get stronger as you gain level O_o
they only get strogner in NG+ NG++ etc ... you're not playing seriously man XD

Enemies get stronger as you make it further into the castle.. Pause the game with enemies on screen to see their level / stats.

Leveling up yourself has no effect on the enemies.

Wow did not notice it was just an indicator of how many times i have upgraded stuff, like in demons or dark souls. That is a big help! ty for answers
