Trying to figure out how many lives I have left by counting back on the family line. I'm assuming Johannes doesn't count as a child, but what about Sir Lee? Is Sir Lee #1, or is he like #0 and it only counts HIS descendants?

The Thanatophobia achievement. Beating the game in 15 children or less, without using the Architect. If I scroll from Johannes to the current "pick 1 of 3" generation in the portraits on the Choose Your Heir screen, there are 13.

So depending upon whether Johannes, who you play the prologue as, and Sir Lee who's always your first character entering the castle, count...I'm either on try number 11, 12 or 13. I'd kind of like to know which.

13 children, 9 hours. Done. After I died in NG+ on the one I beat it with, I went back and counted. It said 13 children on the end-game screen, counting Sir Lee and Johannes there are 15, so neither of them count. Confimed.
