Don't rely on it :3
I'm positive you didn't do 100 runs.
I'm also positive that human perception has a way of making people think that statistics aren't valid.
Guess again.
Was really unexpected, but I can confirm it works!
The skill will seem to trigger far more often on lives that get the special item with the same effect because, IIRC, the skill takes priority to the item being consumed, the item is 100% chance to defy, and results in an extra 'death' for the skill to defy on that heir. You are more likely to get a 15% chance to occur if it gets 2 attempts instead of 1, savvy?
Unreliable unless you feel particularly blessed and/or lucky, but there are things you could be worse off upgrading, and it is usually well loved when it *does* proc.
A random number will be generated on your death, ranging from 1 to 100.
If the value generated is 15 or lower, you'll get a Death Defy.
It is possible for you to die 200 times and not having a single Death Defy.
it is also possible for you to activate that effect several times in a row.
So, you can't really rely on that.
