Whats this "Neo Khidr" about?

So, I just beat this boss Khidr on Castle Hamson and then I found another boss door with some weird schit. It was another version of Khidr but really high on roids, if ya know what I mean. What is this? Its like a bounus boss? Do I have to beat him too to finish the game?

Nah, all of the bosses have super versions. Adds nothing but extreme challenge.

Feel free to try them anytime. Being killed doesn't cost you anything. You're given a special character to use for the battle. All players have the same challenge.

Yes. The only way to beat Neo Khidr is to have one of the following:
1. Invest your entire time into this game, so that it's the only thing you're good at in life.
2. Dodge the bullet-hell-literally-in-a-nutshell sequences which are random.
3. Pray to Cellar Door Games that the weird broken hitboxes don't screw you over.
4. God mode.

As far as I know with these sorts of games where the jumps in difficulty are interdimensional. My only tip is determination. You'll eventually beat it.

Yeah, it's really a pain in the ass. I got him a while ago though after like 5 hours of failure

It didn't take too many tries for me to beat Neo Khidr (like, somewhere between 10 and 20?). The secret for me was to forget about dashing (because doing it is pretty difficult on keyboard) and also ONLY attack to regain magic when it's not in the middle of a attack, no excepetions, no risks. I don't remember the specifics of what I did because it has been a while since I did it, but that was basically it.
As for Ponce de Freon, the little punk, it took somewhere between 15 and 30 or 40. It would have been about 6 because I literally emptied his life bar in one of the early tries but died before finishing; THAT REALLY pissed me off. I just looked up how to beat him after that happened, but even then it was just a common sense strategy; just make him do infinity symbols while you're on the ground to the left, then on the right, then go up to the ceiling from the right, go to the top left, try to loop back over to the top right, then awkwardly jump from the top right to the bottom left with your million jumps since the fires will probably be out. Then rinse and repeat
