Game lowers microphone Volume...

I have the problem that the Game lowers my mic volume to 50% whenever I go into the Game and it's driving me crazy.

I tried to disabling the Uplay voice chat but that didn't help. The communictaion settings in the sound settings on my system are set to "Do nothing" and I run The Crew and the Uplay launcher as administrator.

So my question is has somebody found a fix for this or has the same annoying as ♥♥♥♥ problem?

Go in your microphone settings, last tab "advance" and there you can disable that apps can control your microphone, maybe this need to be disabled? I think worth a try ^^

2 Type in the box: mmsys.cpl
3 In the new window select recording
4 Select the device used and click Properties
5 In the new window, select the Advanced tab
6 Uncheck the "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device." Ready!

Exactly what i was saying too :D But can just open microphone settings and disable it.

Woohoo, I found solution.

This happened because of Windows 8.
Just open game folder and set compatible with Windows 7 for TheCrew.exe.

In addition to this I set "Run as Administrator" for TheCrew.exe.

just go to Uplay, go to settings, voicechat and disable autoadjust
