AI, Breaking Records in Poor Programming

This is the first time I’ve actually seen the AI car TELEPORT TO FIRST PLACE when it is losing. I’ve witnessed it time and time again in this game. Here is a video on youtube after I did a quick search to see if anyone else witnesses this:

It’s also not teleporting into first place that bothers me the most. It’s the AI having cars that can accelerate beyond realistic speeds, taking corners at sharp angles without skidding or having drag effects, and for the love of God, try running from the police and drive through the woods. Then look backwards and watch the police warp around trees or go halfway through them to keep up.

Agree, also there is no point to "leveling up" your cars other than access to the missions. Makes the online point of the game, pointless.

Got a raid car? we'll make the cops invincible.

Got a race car? we will break the in game physics with NPC cars that are from the matrix, because they don't follow the rules.

Spent a few hrs leveling up with perks?, no worries, it's pointless, how about we use rubberband AI to make it more challenging.

Enjoy long endurance races 1+hrs long? we got that covered too, we drop servers every 45 mins, and have no offline function so you can't finish a race.

Like to race NPC's in missions? we put traffic in your racing line that the NPC's are not affected by. Oh yeah and we have no option for you to remove them if you choose to.

This game is getting worst, the more I play it.

Challenges - broke.
Lobby's - broke
PvP - broke
Adding people to missions - broke
2 weeks after release - no updates or serious patches to fix promised features in game.

Granted there are times when I can actually do something, but I will take a break and check it out in 6 months or so from now. If they continue down this road with this garbage without improvements, this game will be abandonedware and servers will be offline in a year.

I seriously have not looked forward to a game and been so utterly dissapointed the longer I play a game.

If their project was to take a racing game and add everything in the history of racing games that suck, you have this game.

Since I don't want to be all negative, there is somehting I do like.

- Exploring the in game world. I can't think of any other positives.

Just rage quit the game because of that. So I must say that I have seen this just 5 seconds ago. Ramming through cars and not losing speed is not even the worse. In the Xfinity challenge they ram through houses and trees on the side of the road and still pass me. I was in the first place for most of the race while looking back I saw ♥♥♥♥ going you would not believe. Then I made a slight mistake and got passed by three cars. I slowed down just a little bit more than I should have. I did not ram other cars, I did not get off the road. I was driving almost perfect line. This is really upsetting.

FIX THE AI!!!

I have witnessed just about ALL that was happening in that video! If you haven't seen that in your game, it's probably because it happened out of your view. But I can assure you. The AI cheats like you wouldn't believe.

Usually happens when they are behind you though.
But either way there is usually no issue winning these races unless your car is underleveled.

the AI is absolute worst, they don't need to break when turning, and they can suddenly accelerate to 300 km/h to overtake you

There is no question they can do some crazy things when they get far enough behind you. But I have over 800 hours played and never seen the AI plowing through traffic like in that video when anywheres near me. That is really strange behaviour. I can usually mess the AI up pretty easily when they get near me, and if they are even a little bit ahead of me they tend to be very prone to taking themselves out from hitting stuff.
