[NOT A FIX] How to join a Crew with your friends

As most of us, I also have problems when I have to invite my friends so we can play together, but after hours of "testing" me and 2 friends found some workarounds that works most of the time.

Here is some steps we do when we want to play in a Crew.

Problem: "Cant join a Crew" message. (also cant see random players name on screen)

Workaround: If you invite your friend and he cant join because of that problem, ask him to invite you instead (in case of 3 friends or more, make sure that everyone try at least once to be the crew leader).

If you still cant join, try join in a quick coop match in any main quest, you will get "no one accepted your coop" message, its normal, thats what we want to see, ask your friends to do the same. After that you should be able to see random players.

Seems like trying to join a quick coop forces the game to "reset" the crew invitation status and put you on a random session, because I think thats what is keeping us from joining the game, some server issue that makes the game get stuck on a invitation loop or a limbo session.

After you and your friends done the "quick coop", pick someone to start inviting the others, normally after 2 or 3 "quick coop" me and my friends are able to join in a same Crew.

But if even after doing that you cant connect, try to restart the game, in last case one of my friends had to restart both steam and uplay to be able to make the "quick coop" thing work.

And that is it, me and my friends was able to play 20h+ doing this, you just need some patience.


Problem: Friend was on your Crew and got DC and coop wont work anymore.

Workaround: Sometimes when a friend get DC and come back to the game, his name on the Crew is black even when he is already online, when that happens, most of the time the best thing is to just leave the crew and ask the DC'ed friend to invite you to a Crew, if you have 3 friends or more, do the same. Just disband.

I call this the "Phantom Friend" because he is on the crew but isnt at the same time, its a dead end, most of the time when this happens the Crew is gone and you have to remake it.

fkin* broken game, i will try this. NEVER going to buy a Ubisoft game again. The main line the crew was created was to play online with friends if this dont work, omg, ubisoft its such a ♥♥♥♥♥* company ffs. Thx anyway

I had no problems lol. Played the game nearly 60 hours and hit max level and beat story. Not one problem.
