Why i can't play using Xbox controller

I have a xbox 360 controller and i cant using in The Crew, is there anything that i can do to use it?

EDIT : I FIXED IT BY RE-INSTALLING THE GAME

Don't know man, my 360 controller is working just fine.

Make sure it's on and connected when you launch the game, screw around in settings.
If that doesn't work for ya, i'd be taking blind guesses.

I'm using the controller right now, xbox one controller but still, they should all work just fine, did you connect your controller before launching uplay? that might be the problem.

Maybe configuring as a "wheel" works.
It recognises my (wired) xbox controller just fine, but also lets me use the Logi Rumblepad simultaneously.
So ... if it won't identify your xbox controller as such, maybe it can be used as a "generic" controller instead?

You probably got these drivers already installed, but it doesn't hurt to tell you incase you didn't know or forgot to install them :P.

well i have about the same problem. my controls in the options dont save they just get reset and the right analog stick only goes right in the options...

I dont understand. None of this works. My ps4 controller with input mapper works perfect on all my other games. but on The Crew i cant do a thing.

This is so old. sorry.
it works well i fixed the problem after i redownloaded it because i upgraded it from the beta to the full version and i think my problem was all about the betaa files
