Ubisoft's Statement About It:

"The graphics engine has been totally reworked to shift to real-time rendering with a Physically Based Rendering system (the same system used in many of our new-gen games). The main benefit is an improved immersion into a more photorealistic world: lighting seems much more lifelike by day and at night, the perceived depth of field is enhanced (also by improving assets' density,) and textures are more detailed (specifically noticeable on buildings, pedestrians, traffic cars). Reworked shaders improve the reflection on car liveries to bring a whole new level of authenticity. Last but not least, new weather effects - like thunderstorms, lightning and rain, with surface changes and vegetation behaviour modifications add a level of difficulty when driving through inclement weather, and bring even more liveliness to the world."

Even without the expansion players of The Crew will be able to enjoy the complete graphics overhaul and a dynamic weather system free of charge.

The Crew Wild Run will launch November 17.

Graphics next Gen? made me laugh got NFS on both PC and PS4 4 and the Crew needed a upgrade, this never seen next gen if compaired. might give it another go.

Devs have stated some time ago in the past that the new engine would be heavily optimized and shouldn't any additional power than what you already have to run it. We'll see how that turns out in a couple of months though ;)

They will charge this expansion 70% the game price, I'm sure (since a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ car is 5~10% game price) and will give to everyone who buy the same unfinished game made by lazy devs.

The DLC will most likely only cost around $15-20 and they actually did redo interiors of cars. The will be working mirrors.

the graphics update and Dynamic Weather will be free ,you will have functioning wipers when the game launches.

Motorcycles will be added into the game and will have specs just like cars do. There will be performance, dirt, raid, street, circuit, and possibly even drift.

maybe i will actually play this game then, who knows. i got the season pass so iwouldnt have to grind for cars, well i still ended up bored off my ass...and if i wanted to pay the micotransaction it wouldve been like $40 bucks or something crazy. it will take more than graphics to make this POS worthwhile to play again

They added tons of new features pretty recently and are going to be adding more. They added new PvP modes, enhanced the PvP matchmaking connection by a ton, and with the new update, they will be adding the ability to simply press a button, go on the map and set a round trip of markers, and play it as an official race =)

New PvP modes with nothing have to do with cars. It isn't a moba, it's a car's game!

Reading the forums I can see which those stupid new modes are dominating the lobby, and is very hard play races actually. Pathetic.

The Crew is a very disappointing game. A lie. I really regret had bought this lie.
