Sadly, I can't find the manufacturer of my router. Maybe I'll try calling the ISP or maybe download the free port forwarding software from portforward.com. Thanks zippedy. Do pllease post any other suggestions for potential future players who occur the same problem.

I seemed to have fixed it, i think, i downloaded an app called Smart Port forwarding, but FIRST, go to CMD, type in "ipconfig" and hit enter, find the thing that says IPv4: that is your computers IP, then, open up smart port forwarding, right click, add new port, TCP PORTS - 13000, 14000, 14008. UDP PORTS - 3000 through 3005. hope this helps

Edit: UDP 3005 makes my game crash

hello. it seems that smart port is not available for download. I downloaded two however but one malfunctioned (corrupted files) and the other is infected with viruses. I downloaded Single Port Forwarding but I do not know how to configure the network. I am rather confuse with the start and end ports also with the UDP and TCP ports.

Original portfarwarding software did it all Gitittle, no need to do anything else. But not used it for some time now. :}. could only seem to find a version full of adware Sorry Sam. will keep looking for you but that should be all you need to use. Try this link Sam hope it helps you.

Thanks zippedy555. I'll also look into it and also to other options regarding the issue. Or else, I'll just have to wait to go back to the UK after summer. Hope that using a different router solves the problem. :) Thank you all for the reply. But do feel free to post your feedback in case the problems occur to other players.

Calling your ISP will also help you rule out the connection or router worrying. Check to see if any other ports are being blocked through the ISP. You may also want to try another router and connection to see if either help. Best of luck!
