what did ubisoft break this time
Exactly my thoughts. I wouldn't have bought the game if I knew the game would require a more powerful system a year after release...
They better leave us an option to revert to the old graphics...
its not that much of a big update
you must just have a really slow laptop
so buy a better computer
If not you may have to re-download and only apply the patches up until Wild run came out - but I don't know if that will work as it may block online use unles syou are on the latest version (to ensure all content is in there)
You may be best contacting Ubisoft support via their online forms.
2 options then really - have a word with ubisoft support to see if they are going to release a patch or something that allows you to return to the lower quality, or fiddle with the settings and see if you can make it more acceptable.
well to be fair... the game was initially produced with last-gen consoles in mind...and that now has been dropped, luckily
and no, its not a half working game, its just an outdated system he´s running on, the product works as intended ...as mentioned, things can change...
i´d always strongly adwise not to buy games based on MIN requirements but rather see that my system is at least halfway between minimum and recommended... many games hardly run on min-requirements nowadays, a fact that any player should be aware of...the bare minimum is just not enough to be satisfying in most cases (especially on laptops btw),and doesn´t leave any space for updates...as you can see
