Return to old graphics?
My laptop isn't all that powerful, and the game feels much less playable with the new graphical overhaul in place, even on low settings. Is there a way to return to the old graphics?

Exactly my thoughts. I wouldn't have bought the game if I knew the game would require a more powerful system a year after release...

They better leave us an option to revert to the old graphics...

That's a stupid suggestion. He paid for a working game and now he gets a half-working game.

I have this on PS4 and not Pc - but can't you select a previous verison in steam, when you right click the game and properties - or doens't that with with Ubi games?

If not you may have to re-download and only apply the patches up until Wild run came out - but I don't know if that will work as it may block online use unles syou are on the latest version (to ensure all content is in there)

You may be best contacting Ubisoft support via their online forms.

ahh damn, thought that may be the case. This is why I don't like online only game s- must always be updated to allow you to play.

2 options then really - have a word with ubisoft support to see if they are going to release a patch or something that allows you to return to the lower quality, or fiddle with the settings and see if you can make it more acceptable.

On minimal requirements game should work on stable 30 fps, my laptop is minimal requirements and it work like ♥♥♥♥ now after update, they changed mininal requirements without posting them, now steam don't wanna refund my cash because i bought it at 22th october... But i bought different game with different requirements.

well to be fair... the game was initially produced with last-gen consoles in mind...and that now has been dropped, luckily

and no, its not a half working game, its just an outdated system he´s running on, the product works as intended ...as mentioned, things can change...

i´d always strongly adwise not to buy games based on MIN requirements but rather see that my system is at least halfway between minimum and recommended... many games hardly run on min-requirements nowadays, a fact that any player should be aware of...the bare minimum is just not enough to be satisfying in most cases (especially on laptops btw),and doesn´t leave any space for updates...as you can see

In all my gaming years (like 14-16 years) it's 1st game where system requirements changed after update.
I can name you quite a few that had gfx upgrades and raised requirements... many MMOs for example, just recently Euro Truck Sim 2 (huge hit on older systems, made me upgrade my PC as well), afaik some battlefield game did it too between 2 versions and i guess i´d come up with more if i thought more about it...
