I mentioned this briefly in my review for the expansion. It feels to me like they are pushing people to buy crew credits to get new cars in the extreme specs. This seems even more evident in the choice to prevent people from using their favorite cars for the only events you can use the new specs in.
I see no other reason that the new specs would be so damn expensive.
You have to play the summit to get ESP points
I don't find racing the same tracks over and over and over again fun, sorry. Maybe if the summit let you play more than just a single track for each spec, I'd be ok with your suggestion. But 1 track for each spec every 2 days is ridiculous.
i have the same issue, i have an american dragster...i still got several platinum parts for it simply by doing pvp in the summit... i could use it in the 1st qualifier, which was US/ Asia and those who had european cars couldnt use theirs... no big deal..
well but that´s nothing to do with the topic at hand... you would still do that if you could use your own car... if not, well, then there´s no point in complaining that you can´t refuse to play in your own car :P
so you just do a couple more with the provided one and then get your own... in the meantime you earn enough bucks to be able to buy the parts for your other dragster as well if you want to...
i dont see the problem
yea...and nothings stopping you
i´d say what they did was raising the incentive to collect more than one car, more one for any occasion ... they certainly dont force you to spend any money to buy the specs...400k is not reallly that much... what you have to do if you want the most out of it is PLAY THE GAME...
The only point of the summit is to increase your vehicles level/ranking with ease
That's fine and dandy... if it would let you use your own car. You don't earn parts for using the provided vehicle, and most people don't want to spend the time grinding out the cash to buy a car they don't want in the first place just to get parts.
