Mouse controls camera now?

Suddenly today, my mouse is moving the camera. Have I turned this on by mistake? How do I disable it? All I can see in the settings that sounds relevant is "auto centre camera" but pressing the key assigned to that appears to do nothing.

Please try checking the settings as well as checking for any other disconnected input devices. Did you use a controller, Keyboard & mouse or wheel?

What settings exactly? As mentioned above, I can't find anything relevant. I use wheel for driving, and tend to use keyboard and/or mouse for menus.

Yeah I'm having the same problem but only when I'm in bumper view which sucks because I'm a disabled player and can only do big races in that view. It used to be if held I right-click it the camera would lock into place but that doesn't work.

I use the view where you just see the hood. I haven't tried other views. This seems like a bug to me, I guess introduced in the recent patch. It wouldn't be so bad if there was a way to centre the camera again, but ideally I'd like to disable it so I can use the mouse for the "phone" menu (without having to first turn my camera all the way to the right).

You guys really need to fix this I don't know why it hasn't been already. Ever since the patch I haven't been able to finish any races because I need to be in hood-view and I can only use the cursor to drive with.

Agreed.
I just followed this up recently and the bloke at the other end -- all he could tell me was that the devs are still reviewing it. (I know, rather lame, eh!)
Do what I do for now and turn your mouse upside down to prevent accidental nudge when you're traveling at high speed.

I can't because I use a headmouse due to my disability but thanks for the suggestion :) I just don't understand why it's taking so long to fix.

I hope they prioritize this as it is annoying to have the view move whenever I move my mouse.

Mork brought this thread to my attention on the Ubi forums, my apologies for the very belated response.

Please try changing the Alternative Mouse Control option, in Game Settings. Tick/untick it, according to your preference.

If this doesn't work, the best thing to do would be to submit a ticket to support so they can investigate the issue further.

Alas, this DOES NOT WORK for Hood, Bumper view and 1st person Bike view... only Birdseye view as seen here...
