performing first time setup

i bought the crew 6-8 months ago installed it on my pc was running good deleted it for few months now instaled it again but when i try to play i get stuck on performing first time setup 6/6 what to do ?

i have the same problem, have downloaded it a few times to try and get rid of this but nothing has worked. have you found a solution?

I believe today's patch is the cause. Be patient. Mine worked until this morning. I also deleted and reinstalled without success.

Delete The Crew folder in your documents directory. Then run The Crew again.

i found if you open your task manager and you close the run setup. it will work when you try and open it again.

Just reinstalled the game, stuck at 1/1. Can't even go through Steam to play this pos.

I figured it out just launch another game and them it will launch and then just stop the other game and enjoy The Crew

Hey so this is how to fix this problem,
go to the local file of the game,
then go in to the folder called Support,
find InsHelper.exe and delete it,
Now try running it.

I should add if you have just tried running The Crew and ran in to this problem you might need to open up Task Manger and look for InsHelper.exe or thecrewwinstallhelper.exe if either of these are running, right click on them and end process,
then repeat what I said above.
