I bought "The crew" but its showing crew wild run trail version!

Hi

I bought "The crew" in steam sale yesterday (1st jan 2016). when i started the game its shows wild run trail version. I want to play the full version of crew not the wild run. How to start the full version game on crew.

Same here. i played it for like 2h and it stops the game and said i must buy the full game.

Go to Uplay and activate a product. Put the CD Key you got from Steam and restart the game if needed.

i did it and it shows on Uplay "expired- the crew wild run"

yes, whats so confusing about it?

you bought the crew and not wild run. If you want to play the wild run content, you need to buy the wild run expansion

I have the same problem where I bought The Crew (not the Wild Run content, just the ''original'' The Crew) and when I start it it says ''The Crew Wild Run'' and that I don't own it. The problem is that we can't play the game because it says it's running the Wild Run version of it and that we don't have. How can we get it to start the original game, that we actually bought?

Hi guys,

I found a solution for my probem. I bought lot of other ubisoft games lik AC black flag, spinter cell etc... for all the other games i don't need to enter the game key in uplay. However, for the crew i need to activate it through upay. Go to uplay, opem activate product, then copy paste teh key. The game will be activated now. I did this and the game turns from trail version to full version.

you have to activate it on UPLAY using the CD key.

i have the same issue as SupM8Swed, ive put the key into the 'activate product section and it is still running the trial version. it also says the crew wild run is in mt libary. any ideas for help?

Try rediming the serial number of the game. I had to do that with some UPlay game I bought last year because I was having the same problem with the DLC.
