You can call it anyway you want, piracy is illegal, and its discussion is not allowed on these boards.

Don't care, because I got The Crew for free during one of the giveaways and didn't spend a penny on it, because of always online requirement I anticipated this very situation.

My point is proving that piracy isn't theft doesn't make it legal.

Do you realize that not only corporates sell games nowadays? That there are tons of indie devs out there? Who would benefit if people would buy their games more often instead of playing them for free.

Just let them remove the servers. Once the public feels there's a need to raise it to EU to slap another fine on UBISOFT, that money will just go into the lawyers' pockets. EULA/TOS is nothing in the eyes of Government Laws.

While i'm not part of EU, they've done a lot of service to fight against anti-consumer practices. Here's hoping they'll look at this and mark it as another win.
