Fix for black blinking screen

I didn't notice this posted elsewhere, so maybe it's not a common problem (or it's old news) but thought I'd post my findings here anyway.

When I first launched The Crew, my screen kept blinking black in an endless loop and would not get past that initial "seisure warning". I finally managed to get into the game, but to do so had to continuously press shift+F2 to trigger the Steam overlay; leaving it up bypassed the black screens. Although, that was just a work-around...

The permanent fix is very simple. In the display options, change it from "Fullscreen" to "Borderless" and then relaunch the game to verify that it worked. I'm running Windows 10 and for some reason Exclusive Fullscreen mode in many games causes stability problems, most likely due to access violations in Windows 10. Anyway, in Borderless Windowed mode, the screen will no longer blink black and you should have no problem using Alt+Tab while in game.
