[UPDATED] Nvidia Drivers / Crash on Launch

Hello everyone!

As some of you are aware, the team has identified an issue with the latest Nvidia drivers that may cause certain players to experience a crash when launching The Crew on PC.

This should be fixed in the next Nvidia driver update. As a temporary work-around, feel free to try rolling back your drivers to see if it may help launch the game. Have you tried downgrading your Nvidia Drivers to version 368.22? It's been proven to work for a bias of users, and considering that you have a maxwell GPU, downgrading to version 368.22 should probably do the trick. Please report back if this issue persist.

Have you tried deleting "The Crew" folder in documents? If that does not work, then purchase the Uplay version of "The Crew" and uninstall the Steam version, it worked for me.

First of all, watch your language and these solutions aren't just for you, because everyone has drifferent problems with the crashing of this game. Second of all, there are more than one solutions that I posted.

I have a GTX 1070 8GB w/ i7 6700HQ running on the Windows 10 OS 64bit.

What I did was uninstalled the Steam version of "The Crew", and instead installed the Uplay version from Uplay itself. I've also unlinked Uplay from Steam.

It worked for me after that. It wouldn't hurt to try.

And word of advice, think twice before spazzing out like that.
