No they just make idiotic assumptions. I was only poining out that just because something is free doesn't mean it's good.
Though to be fair, The Crew is pretty rubbish. For me it's more of a guilty pleasure than anything else, mainly because we don't really have many options on PC. Until Forza Horizon 3 comes out and everybody forgets The Crew ever existed, it's probably the best we have.
But anyway, you still haven't said how this relates to my earlier statement regarding Steam and Uplay. Am I to assume you're just looking to pick a fight?

Trash? Why? Because they aren't Steam? Because the transactions actually work instead of failing 3 or 4 times before you manage to buy anything? Because the serves don't explode every time there's a big sale? Or is it because they actually have hired moderators and customer support specialists to deal with your problems instead of leaving customer support to the coffee-delivering interns and the community moderating to "trusted members of the community" (twa7s)?
Your library is full of overpriced crap but you won't buy a game that actually looks like it might be worth the price for a change because it's not on your precious Steam. Since when did Steam become so freaking great?
Since you like Microsoft store that much, please name features what are far better than Steam/Origin/Uplay/GOG and is not about support
Customer support is important. Especially for PC games, given the quality of most ports released nowadays.
Anyway, just because I don't hate the Microsoft Store doesn't mean I like it. The only digital distribution service I actually "like" is GOG Galaxy, primarily because of it's "no-DRM" policy and CD Projekt's general open-mindedness towards piracy and customer relations.
I already said why I don't hate the Microsoft Store. It's simply because it works. The transactions function perfectly as long as there isn't anything wrong on my end, I don't have to wait half an hour for the Store to load because GTA V is 40% off, and in the event that I do run into problems I have competent help I can reach out to. Plus Microsoft actually has some standards, you won't see garbage like "Showering With Your Dad Simulator" or "notGTAV" flooding the Microsoft Store every day.What else could I want? Trading? Market? Reviews? That stuff is pure cancer.
I know what you're thinking, why am I using Steam then? For the same reason why I use every other service except GOG: exclusives. This might come as a surprise to someone who isn't used to thinking rationally, but Steam has more exclusive games than Origin, Microsoft Store and Uplay combined. Believe me, if I could transfer all my games from these services to GOG (or hell, even buy them again on GOG) I'd do it in a heartbeat. You people like b*tching at EA and Ubisoft for holding proprietary franchises hostage on their own platforms, but Valve is doing the exact same thing, and they've been doing it for a longer time, and not just with their own franchises.
Hypocrisy isn't a virtue. Close the door on your way out.
I'm not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that much in EA's or Ubi's DRM since more are good ( that's mean better features for customers). Through UWP is still early in what comes *real* game store, both sides has crap : steam with crap indie games and UWP with mobile copies. I respect what you think, but you are doing in a way which looks something "insult mode or better than you mode", if you get what i mean.
And also, until UWP (MS store) gets better (as support third party software, yes looking at you, MSI afterburner) not gonna get something paid there.
