hehe.
It feels like 25 mph when I was really driving at 60 mph. Well yeah cop caught me
Seriously, have you ever played a racing game? It's like people are trying to find excuses for this game's lack of speed.
I agree with you, this game has no sense of speed
The larger wheels gave a smoother ride and so they expirenced less bumps and general shaking. You see this in wheel size easy, get on a skateboard and at 20mph (44kph) you feel like you are going realy fast. Get in a truck with big wheels and 80 (176kph) feels slow.
At one point I watched a vid of someone going cross country with 54 miles (110 kilometers) his speed was all over the place and driving skill sometimes in question got to his destination in about 35 minutes. We do a little math and that makes the average 92 mph (188kph). We look at what the speed indication was saying and it read and average of about 100 mph (220kph).
So, I would say the game is not far off.
One thing I was thinking is that MMOs tend to bloat the spaces you move through, by moving points of referane away, it will feel like you are moving slower.
Edit: Or we could go by a firends story:
"One time I got a firend with allot of money to get me invited to to a high end party. At about 4am he came by to talk and said he was drunk and should not drive his car home, a Ferrari. He asked if I could, I said "no problem". I relised that the area of town I was in had no one on the streets and found something I was truly amazed by, at 120 mph (264 kph) the white lines blur together into a solid line."
So, at 120 miles and hour, do the lines blur into one?
